Write for Us

Caucasus Policy Brief is an independent, student-led platform focused on political analysis, commentary, and discussion on the Caucasus region and global affairs. It is not an official institution or academic journal, but rather a beginner-friendly publishing space designed to help students and emerging writers develop and share their work.

Our goal is to provide an accessible platform where students and young researchers can engage with political topics, improve their writing, and publish original ideas in a supportive environment. We are especially welcoming to first-time authors.

We publish a wide range of work, including:

  • Political analysis
  • Opinion pieces
  • Policy briefs
  • Research-based commentary
  • Personal essays

Our main focus is the Caucasus region and Eastern Europe, and we particularly encourage more submissions exploring its political, social, and geopolitical developments. However, we also welcome high-quality content on global politics and international affairs, especially when it provides comparative insight or a broader context.

Although focused on politics, we also accept submissions from law, economics, and related fields, as long as the work connects to political issues or policy analysis.

We strongly encourage submissions from students. No prior publishing experience is required.

Submission Guidelines

Please ensure your submission follows these requirements:

  • Articles should be between 700 and 1200 words
  • Submissions must be original and unpublished work
  • All sources and references must follow APA citation style
  • Co-authored articles (written in pairs or groups) are welcome
  • Writing can be academic or more accessible, as long as it is well-structured and clearly argued
  • We do not accept plagiarism, hate speech, misinformation, or discriminatory content

Submitted articles may go through an editorial review process, and we may request feedback-based revisions before publication.

Authors retain full ownership of their work after publication.
